Who We Are

Lazy Ant ("we", "the site") operates an online store selling specialty coffee across Israel, at lazyant.co. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information transparently and responsibly.

Information We Collect

When you place an order or contact us, we collect the following:

• Phone number
• Shipping address
• Order history and preferences

Payment Processing

Payments on the site are processed by Stripe. Your card details are submitted directly to Stripe and processed in its secure environment - they are never stored on or transmitted through our servers. Use of Stripe's services is subject to Stripe's own privacy policy.

Analytics

We use Umami, a self-hosted analytics tool, to measure pageviews and general usage patterns on the site. It does not collect personally identifiable information and does not share data with third parties.

Cookies

We use a referral cookie named "lazy_ant_ref", stored for 30 days. Its purpose is to identify whether you arrived through an existing customer's referral link, for our rewards program. Additional functional cookies are required for the shopping cart and checkout to work.

Order Confirmation Emails

Order confirmations and operational updates are sent by email via the Resend service. These are service messages relating to an order you placed and are not marketing communications.

Advertising Platform Pixels

We may in the future add measurement pixels from Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google. If we do, they will be governed by consent tooling and subject to your approval, and this policy will be updated accordingly.

Sharing With Third Parties

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with service providers essential to fulfilling your order - our payment processor (Stripe), the courier for delivery, and our email provider (Resend) - and only to the extent necessary. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Data Retention and Security

Information is retained for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal obligations (such as bookkeeping requirements). We take reasonable measures to protect information against unauthorized access, use or disclosure.

Your Rights

Under Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, you have the following rights:

• Right of access - to obtain information about the data we hold about you
• Right to correction - to request correction of inaccurate or outdated information
• Right to deletion - to request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention duties
